The Bay Head Fire Department serves the Borough of Bay Head, situated on the Jersey Shore in northern Ocean County,       New Jersey. Bay Head is situated on the Barnegat Peninsula, also known as Barnegat Bay Island, a long, narrow barrier island that separates Barnegat Bay from the Atlantic Ocean. Together with Mantoloking, Bay Head is considered part of the Jersey Shore's "Gold Coast". Currently, the Fire Department operates 1-Engine, 1- 75′ Quint, 1-Rescue, 1-High Water Rescue Vehicle and 2 Chief’s Vehicles.

The Bay Head Fire Department was formed in 1913 and encompassed several municipalities at its start. The Fire Department runs between 200-250 calls a year.
